The President of the Missing Persons Commission, Moinul Islam Chowdhury, said that after inspecting the mirror, a match was found with the description of the victims.

He gave this information in a press conference on Thursday (October 3) morning regarding the activities of the Commission on Disappearances.

Retired Justice Moinul Islam Chowdhury said, "Meanwhile, important evidence has been deleted along with various changes in various mirror rooms. Many walls are painted. Along with that, there was evidence of the demolition of the room. However, no victim was found.”

The members of the commission said that they have asked in writing to suspend all changes in the mirror room. The matter will be thoroughly investigated by summoning the accused. Action will be taken against those accused of disappearance who abscond.

Sajjad Hossain, a member of the Commission of Inquiry, said, "According to the descriptions they have received regarding the disappearance, the cells are largely missing now. Several things have been changed, some have been demolished."

According to the agency, in just 13 working days, 400 complaints of disappearances have been submitted to the Commission of Inquiry related to disappearances. Most of them are against RAB. Also DB, CTTC, DGFI; There are also allegations of disappearances against these law enforcement agencies.

Incidentally, the Commission of Inquiry on Disappearances will look into the disappearances between August 6, 2009 and August 5, 2024. They will then submit a report to the interim government by October 10.
